The Bargain Shop
The Flagler Bargain Shop was begun in the 1960's as a ministry of the Ladies' Aid Society and is still up and running. It is open Fridays from 9am-5pm and serves the community by reselling used clothing and household items and is run by a volunteer team of ladies from the church.
During the school year, Sunday School meets at 10:40am in Flagler with classes for every age group from preschool to adult.
FCC Flagler offers two weekly Bible studies. One meets Wednesday evenings from 6:15-7:30pm and is open to all. We are currently working through Great Characters of the Bible by Alan B. Stringfellow. The second is a men's Bible study that meets at 7am every Saturday. We work systematically through Bible book-by-book and have been doing so for more than 20 years. Other community Bible studies are held in Flagler and Arriba in which members participate. For information on these other studies and their meeting times, please contact us.
FCC Flagler's choir sings on Sunday mornings throughout the school year and at community worship services and gatherings. The choir practices at 7:30pm each Wednesday during choir season.
Community Worship Services
Through the local ministerial alliance, FCC Arriba-Flagler partners with other local churches to hold special community worship gatherings at Thanksgiving, Christmas-including a live nativity-and Easter sunrise. We also gather occasionally throughout the year for other community projects and services. Check the calendar for any upcoming events.
Community Youth Group
FCC Arriba-Flagler sponsors a community-wide youth group drawing students from Arriba and Flagler that meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays each month through the school year. Students play games, have dinner together, and then participate in a lesson taught by pastor Brandon.
